If you have Google Web Accelerator and find you are having trouble staying logged on to various Websites; ie, Google, Ebay, MySpace, etc., try the following to work around the situation while on such sites:
Stop and start the Accelerator. I found the Accelerator was causing problems when trying to edit, delete, upload, or pretty much do anything else while in a logged-in account. Turning the Accelerator off solved the situation while performing these functions. To turn the accelerator off, go to the top of your browser window and click on the little Accelerator speedometer icon, and scroll down to "Stop Google Web Accelerator." It will remain off until you turn it back on again. To turn it back on, scroll to "Start Google Web Accelerator."
Better: disable Prefetch. Click on the icon, scroll to Preferences and uncheck "Enable Prefetching." This may slow down GWA some, but saves you from the annoyance of turning it on and off again.
Clicking "Don't accelerate this website" doesn't seem to accomplish anything helpful at all; in fact, it causes even more problems.
Hopefully, Google will resolve the problem soon.
Update: Another problem discovered: All of a sudden my browser (Firefox 2) wouldn't work... error message said it wasn't able to work with a proxy. Apparently GWA uses a proxy setting and that had gotten lost somehow. Disable the thing. Better yet, uninstall the worthless piece of carp! =D
